After the thesis defense on the 9 and 10 of december 2013, we need to revise the design, connect it to the chapter 1, 2 and 3 and then make the HLT (ch4) and also the materials that support our design. Not only that, we still have a final report of IP course and Geometry class. Fiuh... Ganbatte kudasai JHO!!!

Boys day out, paris edition

3 hari yang menyenangkan. Membuat fresh dan punya semangat baru.

Perjalanan eksplorasi kota paris untuk keduakalinya ini memangterasa berbeda. Biasanya kami pergi dalam jumlah rombongan besar, namun untuk kali ini hanya 3 orang dan itu cowok semua.
Biasanya segala sesuatu itu dipersiapkan oleh para cewek. Mereka mengatur ini dan itu dan membuat schedule2, mengurus tiket dan me list penginapan. Kami yang cowok biasanya tinggal melakukan kerja2 praktis.

Bukan nya tidak mau membantu, tapi yah cewek2 angkatan kami adlah cewek yg mandiri, gesit dan cekatan (dan terkadang menurutku sedikit superior) hahaha. Whatever.

Dan perjalanan sesi ini yang aku bisa menikmatinya dengan sangat enjoy, tanpa harus terjebak dalam polemik dan intrik yg licu dan menggelitik.

Beda memang dan masing-masing kisah perjalanan punya tempat nya khusus di memoriku ini. Pengalaman2 yang tak kan terlupakan bersama kawan2 semua. Insya allah kita ambil hikmah dan pembelajaran dari setiap perjalanan yang kita lakukan. Dan nanti bisa kita ulang bersama anak cucu kita :D

Alhamdulillah ya Rabb atas nikmat dan rahmat yang Rngkau anugrahkan, jadikanlah kami hamba2 yang bersyukur.

The winter time

i got an email from Karel which stated that today we need to put the clock one hour backward. because it is the "Winter Time"

I don't know what the reason is. Why the Ducth need to reset their clock twice a year. HMMM complicated.

I should finish the assignments earlier especially for the pure mathematics subject, since usually I a bit slow to understand it, and it seems that I am not in the list to discuss about it. hehe..
Yeah, no problem guys.  I will try to do my best. And always start to do it earlier so i have more time to think and prepare. So then i can put something on the table to be discussed and then bring it up into the whole class discussion.

I make a good move in the previous meeting of Geometry. And I hope i can keep it on and improve it.

I have an appointment with my supervisor.
First, we have a problem about the "printer" (again and again). But it is not very complicated, and our lovely Mark helps us to solve it, Alhamdulillah.

For the next batch of IMPOME. BE CAREFUL WITH THE PRINTER, and be careful also with the "madam van printer van ketus"

The supervising today is very nice (for me and the lady of fractions). Mieke gave us many suggestion and she appreciate what have we done.

And for me, alhamdulillah, it looks that she very happy to see my improvement.

Postpone the outing

Actually, we plan to have an outing today. But one of the three masketerz get sick. So we postpone the plan until tomorrow. Meanwhile, we also need to do  any assignment. So just calm down and have a sweety sit to deal with these all.

Eid Mubarak (idul adha kedua di rantau orang)

Allahu Akbar.

Lebaran haji kali ini kuhabiskan (kembali) di rantau orang. Kali ini jaraknya sangat jauh dari kampung halaman ku. ya, saat ini aku sedang berada di sebuah kerajaan kecil di pinggir barat eropa. Belanda.

Euforia malam takbiran yang tak begitu terasa. Maklum kami berada bukanlah di tanah mayoritas muslim. Namun kesempatan untuk merasakan detik-detik lebaran sempat jua aku rasakanbersama teman-teman.

Sepulang dari kampus, kami mampir ke Rumah Bunda Hafidzah untuk membantu beliau mempersiapkan makanan untuk acara besok. Kami kebagian lahan pembakaran sate. :D

Tapi kawan, malam nya, kami harus basitungkin untuk menyelesaikan deadline yang batasnya adalah pukul satu siang.

Kami memilih untuk tidur dulu ba'da maghrib dan bangun jam 12 malam. Mulai dari sana aku tak sempat lagi memejamkan mata sampai saat nya berangkat ke sgb.

Alhamdulillah ramai, dan makanan yang ada WOW Lekker. :D

Walau jauh dari keluarga, namun tetap indah dengan penuh ukhuwah.

There is no important activity outside the house in this day. my plan was to finish the integrative practical assignment and sent it before night. and alhamdulillah, because of the passion and the togetherness, we did it.

The next was doing the next assignment, Design research, and finally i also submit it before the deadline. :)

We can do it.

At night, me and my friend start to work with the thesis (again) and I hear that so many deep sight he produced. :D

the "Life time" changing- "Sleep earlier, get up earlier"

Three or four recent days, there is a shift of my "life time" :D

Because there are so many assignments and all of them need a high concentration so I prefer to work at night. Because in the day or the noon, there will be many distractions. Morover, if i go home lately from the uithof, i will be very tired and it will be nothing if i push my self to continue to work at home. So, my strategy is "sleep earlier, get up earlier". Alhamdulillah it is work. I can focus and have the idea to finish the task.

But as an effect, i need to wait until subuh (5.40 am) and then start to sleep. It cannot be done if I have class in 9 am. But for this block alhamdulillah, not too much class. :)

TFG Second meeting

I arrived at the BBL nearly at the same time with Mieke. But don't want to be in the same lift. So I just make a slow walk behind her. :D

Last night after seeing and hearing my housemates talk about their progress, I prepare for mine until the 4 o'clock in the morning. And its make me "deg deg an" since I think that i am not really prepared.

In the meeting, finally our group (at least one of us, Rani) gota very nice comment. Mieke appreciated what Rani had made. And from now on I stated that Rani is The Lady of Fractions 2013 ^_^

the second chance is Andrea, He spent much time of the discussion, almost 50 minutes (me and rani only about 25- 30 minutes for each). It seems like he needed to do some more preparation before the meeting. In my reflections, we don't need to look down to our self since might be over there there is somebody that need more more works to do although he already looks like "everything done" in the beginning.

Good luck Bro. You are not alone. We will fight together.

ALhamdulillah, i also got a good appreciation. She said that I make a better progress than before. She agrees with my idea and support it so much. She also gives some suggestion to continue the lesson. She also said that now, it seems that i already know where to start, what to do and the flow of the design.

I believe, I always believe the power of pray. The days before the meeting i was so afraid that I can't do nothing with the design. Then I did a call to my Mom and Dad, chat with my ikhwah and friends in Indonesia and ask them to be put a pray for me. It might be misinterpreted by some people, but for me, we don't know Allah will approve the Doa from which people first. So, when so many people pray for you, maybe Allah will approve one of them immediately.

We have an amazing geometry class with prof Martin kindt. Actually he supposed to be in his retirement period but, he still teach us about geometry. He always full of spirit and attention. Although he is a senior (we sometimes call him Eyang :) ) he is very well prepared. And he teach us geometry with his passion on it. He likes Euclid very much, and when he talk about Euclid, we can see that he really enjoy it, like talk about something very important and with a nice expression. Through his lecture, we can enjoy the geometry, something that (for me) not easy to understand before. However, from the previous batch, we need to prepare much because to get the best mark in his course is not easy -_- Bismillah.

He saw us a book of Euclid elements by Oliver Bryne. And some of us want to have it as our collection, we plan to buy it online. Very nice book with the geometric proof using so many pictures instead of text of algebraic notation.

I just feel free to talk in the Dolly class, She is very kind lecture. ANd sometimes she act more or less like our mom. :)

What a beautiful birthday gift from my dearest friends. Although it's very late. Ha-ha, it's just like a habit for us to celebrate the birthday lately and "bundely", hehe. Thank you so much. Love you.

Farewell party Betty Heijmans. This is the first time for me to go in to the Botanische tuinen. A very nice garden of a university. We are enjoying the party, since we are the part of the story of Betty. She already arranges everything for Impome students since the first Bacth. We thank her so much.
