The last weeks my life were a bit boring since the impome surabaya squad was not complete. Most of them went back to their hometown. And I did not get mingle well with the other classes. The others also busy with their own life. This is the time for conducting the researc. collecting data and so on.

Hmm, However, the life must go on right. Along with the new friends I have, this is it. haha.

I, bg wal, mas faiz and mas Iwan went to Masjid Agung Surabaya yesterday. We attended a tabligh about how to deal with syiah in our country. quite a nice experience get minggle with the salafy community. hmmm.. Open mind and wider the sosiality.

As I said before, this morning, I started to wait for Pak Agung at 7.

ANd Pak Agung came at around 9. Although i was in the first place on the line, Pak Agung called one name, and a lady go inside the room to get the supervising. Then, ...

It should be me. But, a group of other students want to cut the line, but, sorry ya sist, I already learned on how to be polite in ur queque, and also how to protect and get your right. SOrry,, very very sory.

I answered by "Ya iya lah Ronal duluan, masak kamu yang duluan???" (with a low level voice, but i am sure they ccan heared it well) -_- They just came lately, many people already wait for Pak Agung, and they just want to cut the line??????????????

But the cases can be different if Pak Agung called the name, its mean that Pak Agung alreaady have special appoinment with the person, and she or he get the priority on Pak Agung's point of view.

Fiuhhhh.... I should be more patient and have a well adaptation with the mentality in this country (my country).

No, Not really, i just combine the first and the second activity and add a card game at the end of the lesson sequence.

Yeayyyyy... Week end

Ada kakak senior yang nanya tentang status fb ku yang bilang bahwa sekarang sudah week end. Padahal baru hari selasa.

Helllloooo... double heloooooo.

Emang yg dijadwal cuma selasa doang. Tapi.... setapi-tapinyaaaaa.... kita serasa tak bisa bernafas dengan banyaknya tugas dan project2 serta laporan yang mesti dituntaskan. Belum lagi masalah bahasa dan plagiarism yang sangat-sangat keras dan terverivikasi dengan software, sehingga sebesar dzarrah pun kadar plagiarism akan terlihat.

Memang disini kita dibiasakan untuk memprogram hari-hari kita dengan sedemikian rupa secara mandiri, yang penting ketika deadline maka tiada ampun bagimu.

Yaaahhh.... dinikmati dan disyukuri, karena mungkin dengan begini juga kita dibiasakan untuk belajar keras dan mengorganisir waktu dengan baik.. walau kadang ane biasanya lebih tancap gas ketika di ujung-ujung waktu... -_-

today actually i also plan to have an outing by my self. Since the agenda is only interview with Doorman, and try to Find Mieke. However, I am forgot that actually in this afternoon we have to join the dutch class with Meneer Eko :)

Interview with Doorman

yuhuu. I just finishing one of the target of this day. having an interview with one of the staff in the Freudenthal Institute.

It is about scientific writing.

I and my college, Rani, interview Michiel Doorman, He is a  kind person. And give us more insight on how to be good in a scientific writing. Hopefully this interview will increase my writing skills.

Bismillah, one of my dreams is become an active researchers in education field, and my article approved and printed by several international journal, Amiin :)

2 hour to find the way

you know guyz, yesterday, me and my friend try to find the way home by our self (with riding bike). and by using our map and intuition, of course, we finally found the right way. it almost 2 hour. (the normal time is just about 30-35 minutes)

But "learning by doing and finding the concept through practicing is a good way"

But the problem is, we can't remember it. So we should follow the instruction again. and make a new map again. :D

01012013: The power of "FOCUS"

In this holiday, for me who have only a few days in my hometown, it is very hard to sit and do the assignment.

In the beginning, I said to my friends that i would come in silent, then did the preparation for departing to Holland quickly, and just stay at home to gather with my family and did all of the assignments.

But, You Know guyz, it almost 2 days left before i back to Surabaya and i just finished one of my task. (not really finished actually :D )

Fiyuh....

I should push my self to do it.

If i believe i can, then it will be happen Insya Allah. As the one that i have done this morning..

An Hour on The Street

To get knowledge, sometimes we should give a hard effort.

That what i did just now.
Have a gladi resik for this afternoon meet.

The new place, the new experience.

By following the map (from gmaps), finally i arrive in the gate. +30 minutes by feet.^_^

There were so many interesting place beside the street which i walked in. And i noticed 2 place.
Very amazing:
1. the mizan book corner and
2. JP kampung buku.

haha, both of them relate with my hobby, reading.
But, since i have not enough money, i just keep my eyes on it, Wait for my up coming !!! ^_~

I feel free when i am in a Library

Finally, i have a chance to visit the pascasarjana Library in Unesa. I don't remember the last time a visit a library. It was long long time ago, i am not sure. (i miss my Pusda in Padang).

This morning, i and my friend had to process the observation permit in the Pasca Office, and i should wait for  taking that letter. While waited, i went to Pasca's Library. It was not big enough, but yeah.. it has many collection. Perhaps i can find book for my course here. Hmmm, and it also provides several PC that connect to the internet, cool!!!

I hope my KTM will be ready soon, so that i can borrow the book from this library. And you know bro, there are also some fiction book. The best seller one i think. Hmmm Yummmieee.

Finally... Math.. we meet again

Finally i found my soul again.
Abstract algebra and Discrete Mathematics.

Although it is very challenging for me, but i don't know, i feel alive when meet them.. hahaha
I am sure that  it makes me more serious.
Everything about math had gone, and i should start it again.

That was Ms Tsu word for me. She wrote it under the revision of my Ielts Essay. Hmm.. I should give more efforts to face with this test, especially on writing section. My Progress still remain constant, and for this occation Ms Tsu just give the 5.5 band for my task one practice and just 2.5 for the second task.. fiuh, need the more pracice. Ganbatte Kudasai.

4th # Writing is no longer a scary thing :D

Last night, Ms Silfia has sent us a soft file of "Focus on IELTS", but it was blur. So we can't to prepare our self with that matter. But Mba Rani had gave us a soft copy of Ielts learning material, so some of us just red or did something with that book.

However, we not studied about the first part of the book (focus on ielts) exactly. We discussed about our last Ielts prediction test. Especially in the speaking and writing section. First we talked about speaking, Ms Silfia invited us to explain what we had done on the speaking section before. She asked about the question and our answers. After that she explained the hints for Speaking in IELTS.

Secondly, we took a serious discussion about writing. hmmm, for most of us, writing is the most challenging section. very very challenging. Preceded a practice of writing this day, Ms Silfia encouraged us to analyse some examples of a writing answer sheet. She showed the example that got band 5 and also the example that got band 6. By analyzing these, we know our weaknesses on the last test. We got the pattern and the way how to be a good writer especially on the IELTS writing section. After that, we did our own. then showed it infront of the class using the projector. And we analyzed it together. :)

From now on, writing is no longer a scary thing :-D
